Contact Blizzard 2016's Caretaker/Foster Directly: Cindy (cp4911@gmail.com) "Special needs" due to hind leg amputation
Update -- July 25, 2016 -- Blizzard has been adopted!! This beautiful white boy is Blizzard and available for adoption! He's had a "hard luck" story but is doing so much better now!! He was turned in at Orange County Animal Services several weeks ago with a severely damaged hind leg. The person who turned him in said they thought he had been attacked by an animal but upon further examination it was determined that a rope or something similar had been tied around the leg cutting off circulation leading to severe infection. There is more to his story but suffice to say he's been in my care since the amputation of the leg and is doing wonderfully :) Despite all he's been through he is still a very sweet-natured boy!! And you would not believe how well he gets around!! He can keep up with even the 8 week old kittens :) Even though he's considered "special needs" he requires no extra care due to his "disability". He's an indoor boy and more important than ever for me to remain so, protected from hazards of the outdoors. He gets along well with other kittens & cats, and would like another feline companion so he won't get bored or lonely when you're not around. And he's so ready to go home with that special someone, could that be you? Please email if interested in meeting and possibly adopting this sweet resilient boy!
