Doris (A405062): I was named after Lunch Lady Doris from The Simpsons, but I am much sweeter than my namesake. When I first got into foster care, I was very afraid and didn't know how to act toward humans. Now, I play with toys like it's my job, and I LOVE being pet. I will purr as soon as your hand touches my fur. I still get a little bit startled by loud noises and new situations, but I warm up to change very quickly. I haven't been around many other animals, but the few I have seen, I have treated with timid kindness. I will be your best friend, work buddy, and companion, and I love seeing what you're up to (I rarely hide). Please give me the loving home I deserve!
