Bixie is such a cute and corky kitty. Due to a severe ear infection and URI as a kitten, Bixie has a slight tilt to her head that will most likely not straighten. She is not considered special needs nor does she need medications for the tilt. It does not in any way effect her vision, or range of motion, but she misses a step every now-and-again because of her balance. She is a curious little being but cautious about her adventures. She loves to explore and have the ability to walk around freely. She’s specifically loves laying on window sillss so that she can look outside. Although she prefers to keep moving, she very often will pit stop for a cuddle. She’ll reach up to you for a pet or climb into your lap for a few minutes at a time. She is very bonded to her sister Trixie so it is our intention to keep them together if at all possible. The two of them love to run through the house together and they play very quietly. They are very content with each other’s company and did not cause any issues with our dogs or items in our home while fostering. These two have been in our care since August 31st because of medical issues. It has been a long road but we’re happy to say that these two beautiful sisters are ready to go home to their new family. Adoptions are less then $40 and includes spay surgery, vaccinations, rabies, microchip and Feline Leuk/FIV testing.
