Meet Brownie! This beautiful, petite orange tabby is estimated to be around 1 year and 8 months old. Brownie just returned to the shelter from foster care and is available for immediate adoption! Brownie seems to have a chronic upper respiratory infection, which means she may always be a bit sneezy and congested. She’s been on different medications throughout her stay at the shelter and then in foster care, but just can’t kick the cold. It’s possible that after she finds her forever home and isn’t stressed with frequent returns to the shelter environment then it will settle down, but we cannot know for sure at this point. It is recommended that once adopted she begin a relationship with a veterinarian who can weigh in on what’s causing her sniffles.

It certainly doesn’t slow her down though! Brownie is energetic, lively and playful. She enjoys spending time with dogs, cats and people. She has an exceptional personality and would adapt well to just about any environment. She likes running around the house and, when she’s exhausted herself, settling in to nap with her people.

Brownie has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped so she is ready to go home TODAY! Her adoption fee is less than $40. To find out more about Brownie please email Diane.Summers@ocfl.net  or go to Orange County Animal Services at 2769 Conroy Road in Orlando to meet her in person.

In her cage at the shelter she has a circle scratching post, toy and blanket that can go home with her. They are some of her favorite items so we want to be sure she can still enjoy them for months to come. Please consider adopting her and giving her the forever home she deserves!
