Meet Gracie:  A446858. She just wants to be loved. Her name is fitting as she’s a beautiful gray girl from nose to tail and she’s graceful. She has amazing yellow eyes. She’s playful but still a little fearful in new situations. Gracie came into the shelter with a skin ailment, received treatment and rest, and now she’s ready to go to her forever home.
She would do well in a home that is slow-paced and on the quiet side due to her shyness. She was curious with my toddler but a little scared. I think she would do well with a younger cat or kitten to be a friend and help her to become more confident or an older cat that is very laid back and friendly.
She’s not a door dasher and loves to be talked to and petted—and is a total purr machine. She likes chasing kitty strings and batting at balls. She also loves wet food.
Adoption is less than $40 and includes the spay surgery, vaccinations, rabies, microchip and Feline Leuk/FIV testing.
