Hi, I'm Jimmy D.! I'm a big, 4 year old tiger boy and am very, very loving and affectionate. I like to roll on my back and purrr while you rub my belly...and just look at my sweet face! I had a pretty rough life for a while, and when I was brought to the shelter I was suffering from mange...it was so bad most of my fur had fallen out. But I was treated for the mange, and had lots of wonderful baths and coconut-oil massages, and my fur has grown back in! I'm a big, healthy boy, although I do have FIV, which is a feline virus that I probably caught when I was a street cat. But don't worry, because FIV+ cats can live normal, full healthy lives. I'm a little shy around new people at first, like most cats are, but once I know you I am a total lover boy. I am fixed, micro chipped, and have had my vaccinations. Adoption details: Adoptions are done through Orange County Animal Services (OCAS). Adopters must complete application prior to taking their cat home. Applications are currently being done over the phone or through email. Adoption Fee: OCAS Adoption fees are never over $40 and includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, and microchip. Additional Adoption Notes: OCAS and Kindness for Cats are vehemently opposed to declawing cats. Any cat or kitten adopted through us must not be declawed. Adoptions are first come, first serve based on eligibility. Please make sure you are certain that having a cat or kitten will suit your lifestyle before adopting; it is not fair to the animals who are returned due to circumstances that should have been foreseen, such as allergies, roommates, or landlord issues.
