I will be at the Kindness for Cats adoption event on Saturday, January 2nd at the Pet Supplies Plus in Winter Park.

Sugar is a very beautiful kitten who happens to be a very timid, scared kitten.  She was feral when we first started fostering her however she has made great progress. While she will sometimes run and hide when you go to pick her up, other times she will stay and let you pet her and/or pick her up without issue.  Once she is being held and pet she may start purring.  Her purring when being held has just started in the last week. As we have had her less than a month she has made great progress and I foresee much further progress over time with the right setting and family. Sugar needs a calming environment (not a lot of chaos or noise) and an understanding that it will take time for her to relax and become comfortable in her new home.  Sugar does have a brother who is not yet ready for adoption and she often meows for him so I would recommend a kitten sibling to help her adjust and accumulate to her new enviroment.  She has 2 kitten friends she has been fostered with and they are also available for adoption.

You can reach out to my foster mom at 321-331-6431 (best option) or kjdaubney@gmail.com (not the best option) to arrange a meet and greet.  I won't be able to go home with anyone until Friday, 11/20 after my surgery but I'd love to meet you before that date.  Adoption is less than $40 and includes my spay surgery, initial vaccinations, Rabies, Feline Leuk/FIV testing and microchip.
