Hi, I’m Muffin! I’m a 2 month-old very sweet and playful little guy! I’m a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly! My three siblings and I were found abandoned and overheated in the FL weather, but thankfully, the Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) shelter saved our lives! We all tested positive for FIV, but the vet said it’s most likely a false-positive because kittens rarely get it from their mothers. Some inherit their Mom’s antibodies (the good guys that fight the virus) so kittens testing positive like me should be retested between 6 and 8 months of age, at which time most will test negative. Which means we never had the virus, just the antibodies from Mom! We are happy and healthy now and warmed up quickly to our foster family and their dogs and kitties. I would do best in a home where I could snuggle with humans and it would be nice to have a kitty companion to play with when you’re away! My siblings have all been adopted, but my adopter backed out on me, so lucky for you I’m available again! I love to snuggle and be held, and I’m also very playful! So far, my favorite toys are my play tunnel and feather wand! I like eating wet and dry kitten food, I'm healthy, FeLV-, vaccinated, microchipped and I’m scheduled for my neuter surgery on Thursday 4/28! I’m litter box trained (I’ve never had an accident outside of the box!), and I know how to use cardboard and sisal post scratchers instead of furniture!
