Update -- May 31, 2010 -- Star has been adopted!!

Star -- Brown & black tabby spayed female approx 9 years old. I was the victim of a cruelty case, but you would never know it!! I am an upbeat, social lady and love people! And everyone who sees me says they can not believe that I am 9 years (and maybe I'm younger than that my foster mom doesn't know for sure given the circumstances I was brought in under but that was the vet's assessment). I am very "low maintenance" in that though I love attention I don't require the care, training and attention needed by a kitten. But still I have my kittenish moments, especially that I still love to play. I especially love feather toys! I get along well with kittens and cats, but would also be content to have you all to myself! I'm litterbox trained and don't scratch furniture, instead I like to stretch my front paws on a sisal twine scratching post and on the Turbo scratcher. I'm an indoor cat and prefer to remain so, protected from hazards of the outdoors. And I'm so ready to go home with my new family! Won't you give me a chance, so many people pass me by for the youngsters but I promise to be a loving companion to you! My adoption fee is only $40; please email for more information.
